How To Be A Good Lagosian - Part 2

RVTCCKVPSB7Z
This is a sequel to my last post. Below are some excerpts from the
book How To Be A Good Lagosian. More important ones, notably.

Littering

The crime of littering is one Lagosians are most guilty of. It is one
of the reasons Lagos became such a dirty city in the first place. Yet
there are various laws against this crime, but of which millions of
people living in the city are unaware.

How To Be A Good Lagosian - Part 1

I came across a book titled "How To Be A Good Lagosian". It's a small
pamphlet published by the Office of the Governor of Lagos State. I
stumbled on some laws that aren't commonly known. Some may sound
hilarious, but they do have serious penalties. Here are some excerpts.

My Top 3 Upscale Midsize Cars For Nigerian Roads

2012 Mercedes Benz C-Class
Every C-Class has a seven-speed automatic transmission system and
rear-wheel drive, except for the C300, which is an all wheel drive
(4MATIC). This third generation Benz has had very few changes for the
past four years. Although fuel economy is on the downside. Maintenance
should be a breeze, if one can cough out 7 million naira. Especially
if one is a careful driver. Globe Motors and Bras Motors are popular
Mercdes Benz dealerships.

Entrying Dubai as a Nigerian

Dubai is one of the most visited cities in the world. It is the most
populous state in the UAE. But more than 80% of it's population are
expatriates and tourists. Dubai is also know as a shopper's paradise,
because of the variety of goods and merchandise available.
For the past decade or so, it has attracted a lot of Nigerians,
probably due to the relative ease of entering the city. Contrary to
what some people think, you do need a visa to enter Dubai (and
anywhere else in the UAE), if you're travelling with a standard
Nigerian passport. The visa is usually given at the point of entry.

Virtual Credit Cards: A Solution To Online Payments In Nigeria

Online payments have always posed a problem to Nigerian internet
users. This probably caused by non-popularity of credit and debit
cards. Although many bank ATM cards are usually VISAs or Mastercards,
Nigerians are usually hesitant for some reason to use these cards
online. The few who have tried, I'm sure where met with a myriad of
problems. As Nigerian issued cards aren't widely accepted. Another
reason could be the site recognizing a Nigerian IP, hence blocking the
transaction.
